OUR STORY

Acorn Leisure was born in North Wales

As holiday park developers we have embraced the beauty of the Flintshire countryside to offer nature inspired locations to holiday home owners who wish to escape to the country for their holidays, weekend getaways, staycations and UK based holidays.
In 1997 Ty Bont Caravan Park was transformed into our first holiday park, with Misty Waters Holiday Park following in 2001. Both these parks required extensive planning and development work.
The Oaks Touring Park was opened in 2013, after we were able to purchase an additional 13 acres of land adjacent to Misty Waters Holiday Park.
Maes Mynan Park is our latest exciting new holiday park development and offers a range of holiday home ownership opportunities to those who wish to secure a UK based holiday home in the stunning North Wales countryside with a 12 month holiday season.

Stunning location in beautiful countryside – a rare find! And what’s even better, we can choose our favourite plot around the lakes before finalising our very own bespoke lodge. This is very important to us as it is a big investment financially, but also from a holiday lifestyle point of view too. We want to be able to make the most of the location and the picture perfect views. Peter and Louise are very helpful in guiding us in choosing the right lodge to suit our tastes and needs. We love the fact we are not pressurised into choosing a particular luxury lodge and are free to visit as many of the lodge manufacturers and their showrooms before making our final choice. The fact we can bespoke our lodge is important to us.

I love the quietness and privacy of Misty Waters Holiday Park and with a 12 months holiday season, I can escape to the country whenever I like. This is great for me as I like to get away from town life.
